The new Lakeview Medical Center features: 40 private inpatient rooms including 32 medical-surgical rooms, with five built to intensive care unit standards; a Women’s Center with four labor-delivery rooms and four post-partum rooms; 14 emergency treatment/urgent care rooms and two emergency trauma rooms; a 10-station dialysis unit; expanded surgery facilities; a two-bed sleep center; the LMC Regional Center for Joint Replacement with dining and therapy areas and a patient/family lounge; an expanded conference/community education area; plus shell space for a future heart catheterization lab.  The facility opened in February 2011.
