Existing Equipment Inventory

Most healthcare construction projects involve at least some relocation of medical equipment. Reusing equipment can help offset the expense of new equipment required for the project. Korbel Associates conducts an inventory of existing medical equipment, and can help strategize and track the equipment that is to be reused . The inventory is more than a mere numerical counting of items; we gather information such as dimensions, bio-med numbers, mounting, electrical, plumbing, and other utilities that affect the design of the new building.

We take numerous photos of equipment during our inventory as it facilitates identification. These images are linked directly to the rooms and equipment items in the database, making them visible on the PDF version of the existing inventory report. This report also shows the basic information about each item, including the new room location if intended to be reused.
